NOTE: This is for Windows 10, some options/filepaths may be different if your on a different operating system.

This SHOULD backup your Call Of Duty: Vanguard config file (PC Users).

Step 1: Navigate to your “Documents\Call of Duty Vanguard\players” folder:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Call of Duty Vanguard\players” (might be labeled as “Users\%username%\OneDrive\Documents\Call of Duty Vanguard\players” if you have OneDrive setup to backup files) %username% = Your Windows Login name.
Either way, it should always be in your “Documents” folder under “Call of Duty Vanguard

Step 2: Copy the “adv_options.ini” file (if you HAVE “Hide extensions for known file types” under “Folder Options” it will only show up as “adv_options”)
    – To Hide/Unhide file extensions click your “Start Menu” and type “Folder Options” and select show “File Explorer Options”) and check/uncheck “Hide extensions for known file types”.

Step 3: Save the “adv_options” file in a safe location to restore if your settings get reset.

Simply paste this file back in your “Documents\Call of Duty Vanguard\players” folder to restore all settings. If your unsure, simply remove/rename the “adv_options” before overwriting.
