Until the game launches of course and without all the extra shit we tried. . . this is what I came up with.

1. Enable support for XBox, and steam input like the first image. (Steam Settings)
2. Select the game in your library and enable support. (Library)
3. Click Controller Configuration in the link and click on the Community Library.
4. Find and Apply the “Delta force – LAYOUT XINPUT-By EAGLEHD” from the Community Library menu.
